Zhu Zhu pets (pronounced zoo zoo) were released in the third quarter of this year and have been selling out all over the world, many stores can simply not keep up with the demand for these plush little fellows. It also looks like some of the more devious clients out there are hoping to cash in on the huge demand for zhu zhu pets by buying them by the case load in hope that people will pay extortionate prices for them when the Christmas rush really hits home. It is easier for those shady scrooges to do this because of the very reasonable price that zhu zhu pets should be retailing at, from $7.99 up to $24.99, this is also part of their great appeal for cash strapped parents this year. So with the reasonable prices appealing to parents, kids have also gone toy hamster crazy with the very exciting and colourful advertisement for Zhu Zhu Pets that has been released by Cepia the makers of zhu zhu pets.

So, what are Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters, simply they are toy electronic pets that use two AAA batteries. They have two modes one for receiving love and affection and another for exploring whatever environment they are put in. There are five Zhu Zhu pets characters  to choose from, these are Mr. Squiggles, Numnums, Chunk, Pipsqueak and Patches, each has their own special and fun personality. There are also lots of accessories to choose from such as the Funhouse, the hamstermobile, hamster wheel as well as beds and carry cases and a host of other accessories.

There has been some confusion over these toy hamsters as they are also known as Go Go Pets Hamsters and they can be both sold in the same store under both names. It is only a small matter though as they are both made by the same people (Cepia) and are compatible with each other it is just the name that is different.
